Job Overview

Join us as a Quality Assurance Engineer and play a critical role in maintaining the high quality and reliability of our web applications. Perfect for those with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring software excellence, you will drive our quality standards to meet both customer needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and execute testing phases for web projects, including system integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Develop and automate test plans and scripts for comprehensive functional and regression testing.
  • Ensure software stability and compliance through end-to-end functional testing.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to swiftly resolve issues identified during testing.
  • Report on testing progress, results, and challenges to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Engage in the creation and continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, specifically in testing web applications.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Selenium, JIRA, and a strong understanding of the SDLC.
  • Ability to write and execute SQL queries and an excellent analytical skill set.
  • Independent worker with keen attention to detail and robust problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator, experienced in Agile/Scrum processes.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Experience in performance and security testing.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
